State and Local Underwater Bridge Inspection

Consor performed underwater bridge inspections of 77 state bridges and local agency bridges in Idaho. All inspections were performed by ADCI-certified divers and conducted with an NBIS-qualified team leader and an Idaho-licensed professional engineer. Detailed inspection reports were generated that included element-level inspection notes and condition ratings, condition plans, water depth soundings, channel profiles, photographs, ultrasonic thickness measurements on steel elements,
in-depth underwater timber inspections using an underwater digital resistivity drill, 3D pier and channel modeling, and data entry into BrM. Reports for high-risk bridges were submitted within 30 days of inspection.
