On- and Off-System Routine and NSTM Bridge Inspection

As part of an ongoing 3-year term agreement, Consor is performing statewide NBIS/SNBI routine on- and off-system bridge inspections in Idaho. The 2024 bridge assignment for Consor has included on-system bridge inspection in ITD’s District 3 in Southwest Idaho. Routine inspection includes element-level inspection, SNBI updates and BrM report submission with photographs. The inspections are conducted in compliance with the NBIS, ITD, and current AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation. Along with NBIS inspection, detailed procedures verification of weight restrictions for bridges; repair and maintenance recommendations; and recommendations for load rating. Final inspection reports are prepared and uploaded into the ITD’s BrM system by the 10th of the month following inspection.
